NFL Comparison
Desmond Trufant

Best Position Fit
Outside Cornerback in a man-to-man scheme

Strengths
Does an outstanding job mirroring the receiver down the field. Elite quickness (6.68 three-cone). Good top speed (4.44 forty). Good technician with excellent feet. Plays tall. Good ball skills. Does a good job getting his head around to play the ball. Prototypical size and frame for an outside NFL corner.

Weaknesses
Only one-year with good production. Not a very good tackler. Needs to improve in run support. Needs to be more physical overall.

Summary
Conley should transition to the NFL as a solid outside corner. More than held his own when teams targeting him over throwing towards Lattimore, and allowed only a 37% completion rate in his time at Ohio State. He gets in a receivers pocket and sticks with him. Conley should be drafted in the top 20 and possibly sooner.
