NFL Comparison
Ryan Shazier

Best Position Fit
Inside Linebacker (3-4) / Outside Linebacker (4-3)

Strengths
Elite athleticism with outstanding top speed. Appears to have all the necessary traits to drop into coverage. Intelligent player with good awareness and football instincts.

Weaknesses
Not the prototypical height to rush from the edge, and could move inside at the next level. Although he is a strong positive presence in run defense, he missed 16 tackles in his final two seasons at Temple. At times he can overrun the play.

Summary
Haason Reddick is an explosive athlete with an outstanding first step, and change of direction ability. He is a tweener build. His best NFL position might be as a WILL inside linebacker in a 3-4 defense. Possible three down linebacker who can move outside on passing downs. A team will need to have some creativity to take him, and there are risks due to him never playing inside before. It is very likely Haason will get his name called on the first day.
