Appeared in 7 games (3 starts) as a true freshman in 2015. Threw for 1,265 yards, 12 touchdowns against 2 interceptions, and added 2 rushing touchdowns.

Transferred to Waco’s McLennan Community College in 2016 (non-football school), leaving him with 3 years of remaining eligibility. In December of 2016, Stidham announced he was transferring to Auburn.

Strengths
Is a very accurate passer on short to medium throws. Is a very accurate passer on deep throws. Excellent arm strength. Quick release. Excellent throwing mechanics. Excellent footwork. Flashes dual threat traits.

Weaknesses
Needs more experience. There is a lot of wasted time in his short career.

Summary
Stidham has only played in 7 games over the past two years. He sat out in 2016; effectively redshirting himself. He is expected to win the starting job at Auburn. He has a lot of natural tools to work with, but it is a step-by-step process. He is basically pressing the reset button on his college career.
