Best Position Fit
Defensive End (3-4), Defensive End (4-3)

Excels at both pass rusher and run stopper. Fights his way through garbage well to finish the play. Very strong player who uses his hands well. Athletic and versatile for his size.

Doesn’t possess the height NFL teams desire for a 5-techniques, and not big enough for a 3-technique. Will need to bulk up to move inside at the next level. Has had some shoulder surgeries.

Alabama lined Allen inside and outside, and he excelled inside. Although he played well in both, he looks more comfortable in a phone booth than in open space. His true position might be as a 4-3 Defensive Tackle (3-technique). He is a team leader who does not have any known off-field issues. He should come off the board within the first hour or so.
