Strengths
Elite vision to not only see the holes but also predict the development of the play. Hits the hole in a hurry. Runs inside the tackles with purpose. Has the speed to turn the corner. Able to miss would-be tacklers with exceptional jump cuts and elusive maneuvers to quickly resume his northern mission. Football intelligence might be tops in the running back draft class.

He makes running the football whether inside or outside look easy. He is extremely dangerous in the open field. Very secure with the football. In 623 touches throughout his college career he only fumbled twice, losing just one. Doesn’t dance around backwards and lose unnecessary yardage on busted plays.

Weaknesses
Not a lot of mass. Questionable if he could hold up as a full-time back. His size makes it easy to label him a 3rd down back. Was not featured in the passing attack and mainly used as a check down.

Summary
Ronald Jones II is going to be fun to watch at the combine. With his speed and shiftiness, he should perform extremely well in the drills. There will be some Wow moments. He does not play running back like he is 200 pounds, and has no fear hitting of the hole at full speed.
