Overview
Rashaan Evans spent 4 years at Alabama and started his final season (2017). Totaled 142 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, and 15 sacks for his career.

Best Position Fit
MIKE / WILL

Strengths
Excellent athlete with good speed. Sneaky blitzer up the middle. Alabama sent him off the EDGE at times and an NFL team might attempt to occasionally do the same. He has an impressive swim move.

Weaknesses
He needs to work on wrapping up and finishing the tackle. Too often, ball carriers and quarterbacks slipped right through his arms. Had a groin injury for most of the year. Played behind an impressive defensive line and many question how he will respond when offensive linemen start crashing his party.

Summary
Rashaan Evans projects as a three-down linebacker, which puts him in the discussion as a late first round pick. I think he will either come off the board in the late first or early Day 2.
